Take That, also triumphed, being crowned this year’s Best Group and for the second year running band member Mark Owen got voters’ hearts racing by winning the Hottest Male award.

With only a few days to go to find that perfect Valentine’s Day date, hotel website LateRooms.com have had a poll running to find out who men and women would like to take on their romantic date.
Actor George Clooney who is nominated for an Oscar in Up In The Air has been named the man most single women would most like to snuggle up to this Valentine’s Day. George received 21 percent of the votes, coming in above Robbie Williams, Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp.
Jennifer Aniston had to make way for Girls Aloud beauty Cheryl Cole who was the female celebrity that single people would most like to have a romantic date on February 14, with 9 per cent of the vote. Aniston came in second with Keira Knightley, Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox. Anyone that books a room at LateRooms.com still can have their dream come true as they can still share their bed with George Clooney as they have provided limited edition pillowcases featuring the face of either George or Cheryl.
Megan Fox and Cheryl Cole are head-to-head in the betting markets for the 2010 FHM Sexiest Women Award
The annual Sexiest Women awards betting markets have opened and the top contenders are Cheryl Cole and Megan Fox.
Girls Aloud star Cheryl came out on top 12 months ago and after another eye-catching stint on X Factor, plus an impressive debut as a solo artist, she is 1/3 with PaddyPower to retain her title. Paddypower are offering £30 free to all new users to bet on whether she will retain the Crown.
Magnificent Megan came from nowhere to be crowned champion in 2008 and the Transformers beauty is rated a 9/4 chance to go one better than last year’s effort. However, weighing in against her is her Transformers performance.
Jessica Alba has slipped from first, to second and then third in the last three stagings, so it is hard to see her reversing the trend, but the Sin City stunner is next best in the betting at 12/1.
Britney Spears is another old favourite who bounced back up the charts to No 4 in 2009 but again there has been little of late to recommend a punt on her at 14/1.
Keeley Hazell has been a regular in the top five in recent years without ever quite landing the major prize, but she is 16/1 to put that right this time.
However, those looking for a dark horse may be more tempted by 18/1 for The Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford, who has just beaten off competition from Fox and Cole to top Zoo Magazine’s 100 Hottest Bodies poll.

Financial matters came ahead of environmental issues in the poll and a large number of pupils agreed that they would like to see a reduction in global warming.
