Born on the 30th June 1983 in Newcastle in the North-East of England, Cheryl is one of five children – having one younger brother, Garry, and two half-brothers – Andrew and Joseph, and one half-sister Gillian.
From a young age, Cheryl was a keen dancer and also won many modelling competitions, including the Boots bonniest baby award, Mothercare Happy Faces Portrait competition, Best Looking Girl of Newcastle, The Evening Chronicle ’Little Miss & Mister’ and Most Attractive Girl at Newcastle’s Metro Centre.
