Cheryl Cole and a host of stars unite for new Haiti charity single
Cheryl Cole proved she’s a pretty face with a warm heart by teaming up with the likes of Susan Boyle, Take That and Alexandra Burke to help sufferers of the Haiti earthquake.
After appearing at a German awards show in a daring catsuit this week, Cheryl was back in London yesterday to join a host of stars, including Susan Boyle, to record a version of the REM song Everybody Hurts for Haiti.
Her fellow X Factor judge, Simon Cowell, is organising the single, and has enlisted everyone from Mariah Carey and Leona Lewis, to Take That and Kylie Minogue to sing on the track.
Other stars who have already recorded their part for the single include, Rod Stewart, Michael Bublé, James Morrison and Westlife.
The single is now nearly finished and is due to be released within a week.
If you want to do your bit for Haiti, donations can be made at dec.org.uk, or over the counter at any post office or high street bank, quoting freepay 1449.
