Cheryl Cole has been voted the celebrity the nation would most like to see play a pantomime princess.
The X Factor judge received 35 per cent of the vote in a poll by MSN Entertainment, which asked which star people would like to see on stage as Snow White.
Peter Andre was voted the favourite to play her Prince Charming with 36 per cent of the vote.
Cheryl’s fellow X Factor judge Simon ‘Mr Nasty’ Cowell was voted the nation’s favourite celebrity to star as a panto villain, with a whopping 43 per cent of the vote.
Girls Aloud singer Cheryl beat Susan Boyle, Myleene Klass, Alesha Dixon, Kym Marsh, Dannii Minogue, Katie Price and Victoria Beckham to the No 1 spot.
Peter was voted the favourite Prince Charming ahead of Orlando Bloom, David Beckham, Robert Pattinson, Ricky Whittle, Piers Morgan, Ray Quinn and his ex Katie Price’s new boyfriend Alex Reid, who only received one per cent of the vote.
Simon was chosen as favourite villain over Gordon Ramsay, Jack Nicholson, Gordon Brown, Ray Winstone, Lord Alan Sugar, David Hasselhoff, Duncan Bannatyne and Sir Ian McKellen.
The poll was conducted to launch the Snow White Academy competition on MSN. The competition celebrates the launch of the special edition Snow White DVD and runs until November 2.
Entrants will have the chance to vote for their favourite Disney clip and the winner will appear in the new advert. Go to http://events.uk.msn.com/disney/snow-white/ for more information and special edition features.
