CHERYL Cole and Dannii Minogue went head to head in the fashion stakes this week.

The style war was in full swing as the X Factor beauties turned up to the boot camp auditions at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo each day looking extra hot, showcasing one impressive outfit after another.

Aware that comparisons would be drawn between them, the gorgeous pair pulled out all the stops – switching from glamorous dresses to super-short mini skirts to skin-tight trousers.

But who gets your vote?

Cheryl , 26, appeared to be winning the battle at the start of the week, opting for a tulip-style purple dress, while Dannii went for understated elegance in a sheer blouse and smart black trousers.

Girls Aloud star Cheryl then turned rock chick as she arrived for work in a sassy black leather jacket, compared to Dannii’s more sophisticated look.

On Wednesday Cheryl again pipped Dannii in the style race as she dazzled in skin-tight trousers and a sparkly top, compared with her fellow judge’s ‘safer’ choice of outfit – a chic print dress teamed with fishnet tights.

However Dannii refused to be upstaged by Cheryl the following day, and looked particularly sensational in a midnight blue dress while Mrs Cole showed off her shapely legs in a blue and beige mini skirt with a leather jacket and a chunky bracelet.
