DANNII Minogue has buried the hatchet with X Factor rival Cheryl Cole – by buying her a state-of-the-art robot vacuum cleaner!

Show judge Dannii, 37, gave Cheryl the £300 Roomba Vacuum Robot at her 26th birthday bash in London’s Vanilla private club, in an effort to end the rivalry that marred last year’s series of the hit show.

And it looks like it worked with sources saying Cheryl, pictured arriving at X Factor auditions yesterday, was “delighted” with her unusual present.

“Dannii’s gift was Cheryl’s favourite,” said a pal of the star.

“She thought it was hilarious and really thoughtful.

“She hates housework and can’t get her husband Ashley to lift a fi nger in the house – so it showed Dannii had given a lot of thought to her gift.

“Cheryl gave Dannii a huge hug when she saw it.”

The cleaner’s manufac- turers claim sensors guide the disk-shaped droid around any room and it can even adjust its own height to
suck up dirt from different surfaces like rugs or tiles. All of which should come in handy in the nine-bedroom
